Operator Station Overview

The Operator Station (OpStation) provides real-time data entry and performance visibility for line operators at the point of production. Core workflows can include downtime reconciliation, scrap entry, manual entry, recipe or job changes, and quality inspections, all configured to each plant’s process.

  • Downtime prompting and reconciliation
  • Scrap entry
  • Manual production and process entry
  • Recipe and job change entry
  • Quality inspection prompts and completion
  • Post-event downtime comments and updates

Built for Reliable Plant-Floor Operation

OpStation runs on an industrial touch-screen inside the Production Data Machine Module, combining operator input and machine data collection in one solution. Each station communicates over the local plant network with the Plant Focus API hosted on the Production Data On-Site Collector for configuration, live context, and transaction updates.

Local-First Architecture with Cloud Sync

Because station traffic stays on the local network, operations can continue even during internet outages. The On-Site Collector and Operator Station continue to function normally, and collected data is reconciled with the remote Plant Focus database when connectivity is restored.

Designed for Real Operators

Interfaces are configurable by customer and role so operators only see relevant functions. Large touch-friendly controls, plus on-screen keypad and keyboard input, are designed for PPE-heavy environments and help improve operator efficiency, strengthen data integrity, and provide real-time feedback.
